I'm sorry in advance for the judging I'm about to do.

Lately I find myself judging some trends....some trends that I find are being "overly trended".
Here are some examples:
Colourful hair/Grey Hair
OKAY where do I begin. I see LOADS of people with like crazy bright hair; bright purple, pink, green, and blue. And I judge the shit out of them for a few reasons:
1) How do you wear anything other than black or white with hair like that. You probably clash like a motha trucker with most of your outfits...or own a lot of band t-shirts?
2) How do you maintain this?!
3) Do you need the hair colour to make up for your lack of personality??
Yes these are awful things to say. I realize this.
I also feel that I judge folks having these hair colours for a few reasons:
1) I'm self-concious when it comes to my "style" or lack there of.
2) I could not pull these colours off.
Now the grey hair thing, I really don't understand. You're literally going to be getting grey hair, if you aren't already, so why not just wait until your 70's??
I had a fight/discussion with a male friend about grey hair the other day. He destroyed me in this fight/discussion. He told me he liked it because and I quote "It's empowering to not fear decay, and embrace it now." Another point in his argument was that he though it "stood out way more than bleach blonde, which everyone does." I responded that now everyone was doing grey so it'd end up being the next bleach blonde (I feel like I should get a point for this at least).
The line that won the fight for him was this, "People just want to express themselves." This is very true. I'll give him that.
I'm still moody about the hair colours and the grey hair trend BUT if it makes people feel unique and happy....you do you girrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl/boy.
Chokers
In the 90's, Chokers....were fly as hell! I owned several, two I loved more than any scrunchy or weird "2 balls on a hair
tie" thing. One was black, and one was a rainbow one that I wore until grade 7.....literally never took it off. It's pretty much clear now...yes I still have it.
Maybe it's because I wore a choker for so much longer than the other 90's kids....or maybe it's because choker's are literally EVERYWHERE....I dislike this trend now.
I was looking at a few hip online clothing websites like Forever 21 for example, and every single model was wearing a choker....EVERY single one. That's too much.
There should be like a weird fashion law where only 2 models per website/magazine can wear them. And there can only be 2-4 chokers per party/club/bar. I PROCLAIM THIS TO BECOME LAW!!!
Too many chokers feels too tacky.

I hate judging other gals....I really do. But sometimes the little Judgy McJudgerson inside of you has to come out and scream in caps lock on a blog.....p.s please oh please lets not let Doc Martens come back.
