Compliment each other

You know what isn't a shitty way to start someone's day. Complimenting them!

I could have woken up on the wrong side of the bed, missed breakfast AND could be having a bad hair day BUT then some lovely angel that I work with tells me they love my dress, my lipstick is stunning, or that I look very summery today. And that my friends is freaking nice!

You know what I dislike. I dislike overhearing ladies diss one another behind their backs. When I sit out on my bench (yes I have a bench I've claimed as mine now) sometimes I hear older ladies in their 50's talk about "Erica's slutty" low-cut orange top". It makes me want to throw my delicious wrap at her ugly soul. But I don't, I sit there as they pass me and I don't say a word.

But what I do instead of throwing food at people on the streets. I go back to my office and I compliment the beautiful ladies I work with instead! Spread the positive, not the negative. One of the gals I work with and I pass each other in the same hallway all the time and every time we do we always pick out something we like about the other person (e.g something we are wearing) and compliment each other! It's a mood/day booster!

One day I was walking through the front foyer and one of our sales gals just started talking to this lady who was in waiting for a meeting with another sales rep and she just out right said to the lady "wow you are a beautiful woman!!" just like that! And our receptionist at work said "Do you know this lady?" and the rep said "no I don't I just think she's stunning and you guys must think I'm crazy!". I didn't think she was crazy, I thought she was an absolutely beautiful person for saying that to someone she's never talked to before!

So I hope when you're at your work today you take the chance to compliment someone today, be it a stranger or someone you know well! Give them a compliment, they could be needing it today!
