Getting Dressed

I usually, either the night before or when I first wake up....know exactly what I want to wear for the previous day/that day. So then I force myself out of bed and put on said outfit. Then I second guess my decision all morning long.
That's when the boyfriend comes in.
Does anyone else ask their boyfriend/girlfriend how they look....like every day, at least 20 times?
I do and it probably drives my boyfriend bonkers.
This is how it usually goes down:
*me looks at self in tall mirror for 25 minutes while doing hair and makeup*
"Babe does this look good together??"
BF "You look great hun!"
"Are you sure? Do I look fat?"
BF "No you don't look fat."
"Are you sure? Do I look frumpy?"
BF "No you look fine!"
"Just fine??"
BF "You look good babe!"
*Ends up wearing the outfit*
This happens on a regular basis, the same conversation almost every day. Here's the thing about this conversation though, OF COURSE the person who loves you is going to say you look great in pretty much anything! I could be wearing a sack and he would say I looked stunning. Which is awfully sweet. The person who loves you doesn't care what you're wearing for the most part! They look at your face and see your true inner beauty.
We are the hardest on ourselves. We are the ones who don't think we are perfect, and feel like we are the ones who need to lose the weight. We are the only ones who can fix what we think needs fixing.
I had a conversation with a co-worker yesterday about this. He told me that others wanted him to lose weight for himself, but he said he can only do it for himself. Its 100% true. You can say you WANT to lose 10 pounds, but if your heart isn't in it and you can't push yourself, then you probably won't lose that 10 pounds.
If only our loved ones thoughts could sploosh into our own minds then maybe we could work on ourselves with the confidence that they have in us. Stealing minds isn't a thing yet right?
