Honk Honk

My work day started off with me walking down the sidewalk....and getting honked at. Getting honked at by two old dudes driving a Garbage Truck.

I feel like in every way this isn't a compliment. I'm either trash, or those old dudes liked the junk in my trunk if ya know what I mean.

This should be added to my day ruiners. BUT then I got an awesome text from a best friend back home singing the lyrics to Barney's " I love you you love me" song so that was pretty great, so this Friday might not be all that bad.

Now I'm going to blog my jerk feelings about weightloss/dieting/ a new you, products.

I feel like if you think a patch, or a shake, or frozen meals are going to make you healthier then go for it!! I have no problem with you feeling confident in a product to make yourself feel better. HOWEVER:

I do not want you to shove your products down my throat. If I'm interested in what you're selling I will for sure come to someone I know and ask for more info and purchase the product from you because I know you and I know that this is a side business for you. And I would love to help you out as much as I can!

I appreciate those that I have on social media for making Facebook pages and just sending one invite. When I decline then you know I'm not interested. Plus this second social media page makes it so that I'm not seeing 1000 posts from you on how this product does this and you should buy it blah blah blah. I appreciate that.

But not all of you are like that.

Folks I've barely talked to for years message me asking to buy their product with out even teaching me about what it is, OR they want me to share with other people I know. No. I am not going to shove your shit down other peoples throats....and not get paid. I work in radio. I get paid shit. I'm also not going to tell people I know about products I don't believe in.

Whatever happened to eating smaller portions and exercising more? Now we have energy patches, and weight loss shakes. POWDERS SO MANY POWDERS. I don't want in your pyramid schemes just yet. Maybe when I'm in my late 20's. Maybe I should shove my crafts down people's throats? BUY MY WINE BOTTLES GUYS BUY IT...THEY'LL GIVE YOU SO MUCH ENERGY, YOU'LL QUIT EATING FOR 2 STRAIGHT DAYS...BUY THEM BUY THEM BUY THEM.
