Lunch Time Vibes

I went to a nutritionist last week because my doctor told me I should, so they can get money out of me. So I went....and actually got some stuff out of it. It was like being in 8th grade Health class again learning about good fat and bad fat.

I had to make goals for myself as well. HAD TO.

1) Go for a walk every lunch.

2) No bread on Thursday's.

3) Try nuts once a week.

You can laugh at that last one. I did when I was writing it down, my nutritionist was not impressed with my immaturity.

So he told me to start off with super small goals and work my way up to big ones. These are extremely small and super do-able, except I love bread so that middle one is going to be tough.

My walks at lunch have actually been so great though. I get to pet dogs, and be outside. BUT I also get to remember how lonely I am in this city sometimes.

On my walk today, the local humane society had set up something at the park for adoptions and they had cats there. Beside that, the city had set up games. I walk alone at lunch and I realized....the games are for the people with friends...and the cats are for....cat ladies. So I obviously went and chilled with those cats. And we are now friends, so hooray for that! Screw you city and your games for more than one person!

This is me now.
